General Information
Personality: She is a quiet girl who rarely talks. She likes and does strange things: such as choosing to keep her leg shackles as a weapon and attaching them to her wrists. When mad, she usually puffs up her cheeks or stomps her feet, breaking the ground due to her abundance in strength.Even though she is physically and emotionally tough, she does have moments when she acts vulnerable and even child-like to the point of fit throwing. This usually happens when anything regarding slavery takes place: or when anyone attempts to lord themselves above her.
She is secretly very insecure because she always deems herself to be useless compared to the others whom she had been trained along side of. Her biggest wish is to be useful to someone, most likely because she wants to feel wanted and appreciated due to her skills. She is often flattered but frightened by anyone showing a romantic interest in her, and she often states that because she was one a slave she is unworthy of being with anyone, showing aspects of her inferiority complex.
Known Crimes: Theft of Property | Breaking and Entering | Assault | Escape | Terrorist Acts | Murder
History: Number 13. The Unlucky One. The Problem Child. She has gone by many names, and yet she has never been granted a true one. She was born in captivity, a governmental test subject run by a third party to keep the public from turning against their governing body should they find out about the project. She was but one of many children born from parents who possessed special abilities due to the poisoning of the water by the pharmaceutical company. Though she had parents she never knew them: having been stripped from her mother’s arms the moment she was born. During her twelve years in captivity she never once was given any information about her mother or her sire: in fact, she wasn’t given much information about anything. She was taught how to read, how to write, math, and the world histories: though these were by far the tainted versions, among other various subjects. She was taught enough to be effective with what the government had planned: soldiers who were exceptionally powerful, and whom would fight for the country and die for it if necessary without hesitation. Flawless ‘machines’ or ‘weapons’ to be pointed at a target and let loose with the kind of proficiency that could give anyone nightmares.
Each child in this twisted program from the time they could walk and talk were trained to be super soldiers. Their powers were forcefully developed young using high amounts of stress alongside drugs so that they could be better trained and learn better how to harness them at a young age. Each child was different and unique and studied with the upmost care as the government attempted to learn exactly how each power was awakened: hoping to better be able to control in the future what type of powers these super soldiers gained. The children were put through tests and forced into combat against each other, often made to fight to the death, so that the government could see how their powers matched up against each other. For #13, who was seen as The Unlucky One due to having no elemental, non-elemental, or physical abilities to speak, this would have proved a problem except for the fact that she was too strong and too fast for her opponents to be able to concentrate on or ‘lock on’ to fast enough before she utterly destroyed them. She proved time and time again that just because she couldn’t sprout flames from her hands or beams of lightning from her eyes didn’t mean she was to be under-estimated.
As #13’s strength and speed continued to grow her tests became more rigorous and more directed towards furthering her development physically while ignoring any further mental capabilities – not realizing she was something of a late bloomer so to speak when it came to her Psychic awakening. In fact, it would prove to be this lapse in monitoring that would prove the downfall for those who held her captive. By the time she was twelve she had been able to gain through sweeping the minds of those who held her and the other children captive enough information to know that this life they were living was not the only one out there. They had been conditioned to obey without command but the more #13 looked and saw in the minds of others the more she realized just how wrong this really was.
There came a day, after much planning and forethought, that #13 attempted to escape with those around her: attempted to free them and show them that there was a life after this. Unfortunately for her this was not such an easy task. Those who had proven to have telepathic like abilities had long ago been blocked from the minds of those around them so that they did not gain awareness over their situation. Attempting to sway everyone to see things her way in a sudden rush failed. In the end, as she attempted to escape, those around her whom had been her fellow peers for so long, were commanded to attack her and did so without hesitation. Even though she attempted to fight them off without harming or killing them she was left no choice in the end. After the other child soldiers were slaughtered the scientists and other personal followed suit. #13 made her way through the entire compound, hunting down and slaughtering everyone at that point.
Only when the last individual was dead she she bring the place to the ground, utterly destroying it both from the physical attacks she launched against the compound itself but also the mental telekinetic ones. In the end there was nothing left, and #13 left to move on to ‘greener pastures’.
Of course, the following two years were no easy ride. Even though tests and experiments had been run daily on the children they still had had plenty of food and drink, clothing on their backs, and a place to lay their heads. Now she had nothing, and she had to learn and adapt to get these things for herself, she had to learn how to survive on her own which in and of itself was a learning process.
